arte cafe: A NYC RestauraNt WEDDING
Sabrina & Justin started their day by getting ready together (& with their cats) at the Hotel Belleclaire in the UWS. I loved that they got ready together, I think it was so unique and it really helped them spend more time together on their wedding day.
Once they were dressed and shared their vows, we walked on over to Central Park to get some portraits around Bethesda Terrace. It was a hot summer weekend day so the place was PACKED. But Sabrina & Justin were such troopers, that we made it happen! We also made sure to keep them in the cool shade as much as possible and I bought some waters for them to stay hydrated.
After their own portraits, we had their families meet us at Strawberry Fields, where we took all their family portraits by one of those side grass fields.
The venue, Arte Cafe, was only a block away from that point, so we walked that distance as well with everyone. That's one of the things you should keep in mind when doing a NYC wedding - you may be walking a lot (if the locations are close enough) and you just have to be prepared for any kind of weather (never hurts to have back up plans!).
